Ricardo Adé is more than a footballer - he is a symbol of discipline, resilience, and leadership. Born on May 21, 1990, in Saint-Marc, Haiti, Adé grew up as the third of four siblings, raised by Mona Chery and Carl-Henry Adé. From a young age, he was driven by a clear ambition: to become a professional footballer.
He began his career with Baltimore SC (2007-2013), where he won the Haitian League Championship in 2011. His journey took him to Miami United (2014-2015), Don Bosco FC (2016), Santiago Morning (2017-2018), and Deportes Magallanes (2019-2020), building valuable international experience.
His career reached new heights in Ecuador, playing for Mushuc Runa SC (2021), SD Aucas (2022), and LDU Quito (2023-present). At Aucas, he was instrumental in securing the club's historic first LigaPro title. With LDU Quito, he has won multiple titles including LigaPro (2023, 2024), CONMEBOL Sudamericana (2023), and Supercopa Ecuador (2025).
Internationally, Adé represents Haiti and has participated in the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 2013, 2019, 2021, 2023, and 2025, highlighting his consistency and longevity at the highest level. In 2019, he became a father to his son, Richcard Henry Adé, marking an important personal milestone.
That same year, he founded Fondation Ricardo Adé, a nonprofit dedicated to giving back to the community and supporting youth development in Haiti. Known for his strength, aerial dominance, and leadership, Ricardo Adé is regarded as one of the top defenders in Ecuador's modern football era and a respected figure both on and off the pitch.
